STAY is a late-1800s Karoo home, thoughtfully restored and converted into a peaceful guesthouse in the heart of Booktown.

Whitewashed walls, four-poster beds, rattan and natural textures, black-and-white tiles and soft linen that guests say "smells so good". Many rooms open onto a patio overlooking the garden.

After a long day on the N1, there's a pool to cool off in, a quiet garden to unwind in, and an electric blanket on cold Karoo nights.

Debbie is an amazing hostess. She really walked the extra mile for us. The room is beautiful, well decorated. Our bathroom had an amazing bath and shower. Linen smelled so good. We will definitely be back.

Debbie was an amazing host who made me feel at home after a long drive. She went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. This will definitely be my new resting pit-stop between long commutes.

Wonderful visit with nice people. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home and make sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

It was absolutely wonderful. The place is tastefully and creatively furnished. The electric blanket certainly helped against the Karoo cold.

A beautiful house to stay over! Pet friendly and very safe. We had a trailer full of valuable furniture and Debbie assured us it would be safe. Night watch and cameras.
